—— The economic work conference of LianDe Company in 2018 was successfully held.
On February 10, 2018, Wuhan LianDe Chemical Co., Ltd. held its 2018 economic work conference. The meeting was presided over by Deputy General Manager Liu Changbo, and each deputy general manager provided a comprehensive summary of their respective areas of responsibility; Zhou Jun, General Manager of Qianjiang Yihe Chemical Co., Ltd., Zhou Desi, Deputy Director of Workshop 2 of LianDe Company, and Wang Gang, Director of Workshop 4, respectively represented their units for work exchanges and summaries. More than 60 members of LianDe's management attended this meeting.
Chairman and General Manager Nie Zhiping delivered an important speech titled "Confidence Leads, Innovation Drives, Winning in 2018" at the meeting. Mr. Nie first reviewed last year's economic work. In 2017, the company carried out BRC certification and standardization work, the quality awareness and concepts of all employees improved significantly, the execution in workshop production and the stable control of quality, and the company's environmental protection saw fundamental improvements, all of which became highlights of the company's operational activities in 2017. However, there were also some "unsatisfactory" aspects in 2017, such as insufficient adaptability to changes when encountering difficulties, the sales work did not proactively adapt to external changes, and a lack of crisis awareness.
Regarding the work in 2018, Mr. Nie proposed the work guideline: "Sales are the leading force, production is the support. Technology is the driving force, management is the guarantee." He warned all employees about the severe situation the company faces in 2018, stating that "we must have both a sense of crisis for survival and a firm confidence to overcome difficulties." He emphasized the company's overall economic goals for 2018, advocating for innovation-driven and technological progress, calling on the entire company to earnestly carry out production innovation and management innovation work, to create benefits from products, to seek benefits from management, to find benefits from the market, and to dig for benefits internally.
Mr. Nie mentioned that first, we must strengthen our sense of crisis and establish confidence in overcoming difficulties; second, we must adhere to technological innovation, achieving product characteristics of "having advantages over others and being unique"; third, we must let the leading business thrive, with supply and sales departments deeply engaging in the market and actively responding to changes. Mr. Nie finally emphasized: all employees should think broadly and act practically! He hopes that in the new year, all departments and workshops will earnestly implement the spirit of the company's economic work conference, mobilize all employees, and according to the 20-character work guideline proposed by Mr. Nie, diligently perform their duties, work in unison, and strive to achieve the overall economic goals of the company in 2018!
